Designed to bring audio and video into a PC for video editing or DVD authoring, Instant DVD is an external video capture/editing device that connects to PC through a USB connection. This external device includes video encoder and decoder chips and hardware as well as MPEG2 codec to compress and decompress MPEG2 video.
